I offer 1:1 face-to-face tuition to support and develop Primary-aged (Year 2 - Year 6) children’s learning confidence on a short-term and long-term basis.

Terms and conditions
📚 Tuition Sessions
- Weekly tuition places are allocated for your child. Once a time/day is agreed, it cannot be changed unless availability allows.
- Continuous cancellations may result in your child’s place being reallocated to another child on the waiting list.
- Sessions run year-round, including half terms. Please note: I do not work on bank holidays and will notify you in advance of any personal holidays.
🧾 Booking & Payment
- Please sign up in advance for the sessions you would like your child to attend.
- Sessions must be agreed and paid for in advance, by the 1st of each month via bank transfer (e.g. 1st March for all March sessions).
- If payment is not received in advance, your child will not be able to attend, and their place may be reallocated.
- Tuition runs on a monthly rolling contract; you are free to cancel at any time. Already paid-for sessions will not be refunded.
💸 Cancellations & Refunds
- If your child misses a session, unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued.
- If I need to cancel a session, refunds cannot be provided. I will make every effort to offer an alternative date.
🏠 Session Locations
- Library sessions: Please drop your child off 5 minutes before the session begins and collect them no later than 5 minutes after it ends.
- Home sessions: Please ensure your child is ready to begin upon my arrival. A timer may be used during the session.
🧰 Materials & Homework
- All materials and resources are provided.
- Homework will not be assigned.
📸 Photography & Publishing
- Photographs of activities may be taken for publishing purposes.
- I will not take identifiable photos of your child.
🥤 Food & Drink
- Children may bring drinks in a lidded bottle.
- Please do not bring food to sessions.
✅ Safeguarding & Qualifications
- I hold a BA Honours degree in Primary Education (since 2012).
- I hold a QTS (qualified teacher status) qualification. This is achieved on successful completion of 1 year of teaching in a classroom.
- I taught in a full-time position in school between 2012 - 2021.
- I am first-aid trained (completed March 2024).
- I hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS check.
